Novi Sad – Nenad Ivanišević, the provincial secretary for economy and tourism, stated today that the first „ArchyEnergy“ fair and professional conference in the field of architecture, energy efficiency, innovative technologies, and construction materials will bring more than 700 overnight stays to Novi Sad on April 8th and 9th, providing a better insight into the rapidly expanding industry sector, the Provincial Government announced.

Ivanišević emphasized at a press conference that the Secretariat supported this event for tourism reasons, as they expect 700 overnight stays and therefore also support business stories and the Exit festival and other events held in Novi Sad.

„The fact that there are no available accommodation capacities shows that this city has become a significant place for hosting trade fairs,“ Ivanišević said.

Another important reason why the Secretariat supports this event is that it is an expanding industry sector.

„The Secretariat provides support within its economic and tourism competitions through special grants and subsidies for facilities that opt for renewable energy sources,“ Ivanišević said, adding that the Secretariat was the first to introduce specific subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicle chargers, demonstrating dedication to new trends.

He also emphasized the importance of listening to reputable experts in the field who will participate in the conference and find out about the expected trends in the upcoming period and the next year, in order to determine what else a tourist facility should offer to meet the preferences of modern tourists.
