Jovana Arsić, Nikolaj Pimenov, and Martin Mačković, members of Partizan and our best representatives, won two gold and one bronze medal at a prestigious regatta in Italy.

Jovana Arsić won first place in the single scull discipline, showing determination to achieve the same goal at the Olympic Games – winning a gold medal. In the same discipline, where Pimenov and Mačković competed, Pimenov won gold, while Mačković took third place and the bronze medal.

– After winter preparations and all the challenges that await us this season, today’s regatta is an excellent indicator that we are on the right track. Pimenov had a great race, and after Vasić’s injury who rows in the double scull with Mačković, we decided that Martin would row in the single scull discipline. Both of them have shown readiness for the upcoming qualification regatta for the Olympic Games, which will take place at the end of April in Hungary. The fact that the current Olympic champion finished in fourth place speaks to their good form. Jovana is working at the same pace and showing a high level of readiness for the upcoming Olympic Games – said the head coach of the national team, Nikola Stojić, who once again thanked the Serbian Olympic Committee for the support it provides to our rowers.

In addition to Stojić, our rowers also work with the national team coach Miloš Stanojević and physiotherapist Milan Bosić.
