Ferrero stated that for every player, it can become a burden when they do not win tournaments. He emphasized the importance of achieving results that pave the way for top players. While Alcaraz wants to win, Ferrero noted that he does not see the same desire in him, which is crucial for success.
However, Ferrero acknowledged that this is just the beginning for Alcaraz and that there is plenty of room for improvement. He commented that at 20 years old, Alcaraz has a lot of potential for growth.
It is worth noting that the young Spaniard is currently recovering from an injury sustained at the Rio Open, where he had to withdraw before the second round. Despite this setback, Alcaraz is ranked second in the ATP rankings.
